Navigating six flights of stairs with luggage is a workout!!! Lack of toiletries is disappointing!!! Basic furnishings do not reflect the chic atmosphere promised!!! Self-check-in process could be more user-friendly!!!

We had guest room with aircon.

Tidy and absolutely stunning room with free coffee and Wi-Fi, and exceptionally comfortable bed. City view, welcoming staff. Location right by all beautiful Museums and important things, the main attractions in Florence, and Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio.

The room I received was new-fashioned and romantic.

Enjoyed our rooms with private toilets. The staff were welcoming and helpful with requests.

The spacious room had a fine brick ceiling and a relaxing soaking tub, making our stay quite special.

Big and beautiful room, very decent breakfast, spacious shower.

No Elevator, small fridge in the room, mini-bar paid.

Great Staff, helpful to organize tours and museums. Great location right to the Dome and Uffizi, minute walking distance to all attractions. Amazing rooms, clean and very comfortable, super design decorated. Great services, free wifi free mineral water and free coffee facility. Great breakfast. We will be there again.

Unique decor adds charm to the experience.

It was quite frustrating that the location inside the building wasn't clearly marked, resulting in confusion upon arrival. Some of the plug-ins in the room didn't work, an inconvenience .

The location is very central. It feels like a home, not like a hotel.

I didn't expect the bathroom not to be inside the room (even though it was exclusive for our use). In fact, from the pictures, I was expecting something completely different. Also, we had to pay 30 euros extra for arriving after 6 p.m. But that's what happens when you don't go to a proper hotel. This is a guest house, and now I see the difference.

Ja, the location is just lekker, only a stone's throw from the Duomo! Brekkie was solid too, fresh juices and pastries to start the day right. Chommie at reception was super helpful, gave us a map with all the hotspots marked out-made exploring easy!

Ag man, the stairs are a killer after a long day under the Tuscan sun!

Definitely the beautiful room (with an amazing fresco in the ceiling)!!! Location is great as well and the breakfast has a good relation quality/price.

Only not having elevator...but you can handle with that! Oh and you can get a room with a outside bathroom but that was not our case...

If you're looking for a low budget hotel with a great location this is your place. The breakfasts were fabulous and its located in a fun part of town and when closed windows you can't hear a thing. However if your traveling with lots of luggage and an elderly person this is not the place for you. There is no elevator and too many stairs to climb. Also, there is no phone, no tv, and couldn't get soap for the shower. No front desk either, which is difficult if you're not an accomplished traveler who needs help getting around town. I'd consider returning if I was with my husband and was guaranteed a room on a lower level because it's very quaint.
